We first divided the different verticals of the business into four silos. Each silo then had a hyper-focussed content plan.
Using our content plan, we could plan our anchor text in advance and make sure that each piece of content was crawlable, discoverable, and contained links to the relevant parent page. Each page also contained at least two internal links, which is a good way to encourage Google to crawl each page more frequently.
Finally, we made sure that our briefs were data-led, and therefore more extensive and detailed than our competitors. This was crucial if we were to get ahead for competitive search queries.
This process created a feedback loop of topical authority throughout each silo and ultimately lead to an explosion of traffic and leads for our client from both local and national keywords.
