Is Threads the New Twitter?
The app looks and feels like Twitter with slight variations between the two. What Meta have done is they have timed the release of Threads perfectly.
Twitter is going through a massive transition period at the moment and there is huge uncertainty looming over them.
The only positive thing is that they have Elon Musk in the building now. The guy is planning on colonising Mars so he clearly doesn’t lack vision or determination.
Maybe he will make Twitter the first social media platform to have an office on mars?
Will Twitter Die Out Because of Threads?
Twitter has been around since 2006 so it’s classed as a social media veteran now. It’s in a period now where the company will see massive changes.
Whether these changes will be for better or worse is yet to be decided.
We believe that there is room for both Twitter and Threads to co-exist.
What this will look like exactly isn’t clear yet but you can bet that Twitter will put up a huge fight in the competition for users.
What Does the Future Hold for Threads?
If we looked into our social media crystal ball we could probably see a bright future for the Threads platform.
It’s run by the biggest and most successful social media company of all time so it has all the help and resources it needs to become a success.
At first glance the platform looks and feels the part. No doubt it will grow and evolve as time goes on.
Maybe it will become the biggest social media platform of all, or maybe it will be a smaller player amongst the heavy hitters in the industry.
The truth is that we don’t really know but we do know that it isn’t going away anytime soon.
