The Brief

Michael Cullen AKA Speedo Mick is the proud founder of The SpeedoMick Foundation. A charity that is set up to provide support for young people through education, helping relieve poverty and support their physical and mental well being.

Mick’s foundation needed a social media presence so that they could spread the message about his upcoming challenge and encourage donations.

Using the combination of Mick’s tight blue speedos and our creative social media strategies, it was a match made in heaven!

The Process

With a solid presence already on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter the plan was to continue growing the foundation’s social channels.

Mick was about to embark on his challenge which would see him walk from one end of Britain to the other in nothing more than a pair of blue speedos! Rather you than us Mick!

We capitalised on this venture and launched a fun and engaging social media campaign that gave insight into Mick’s journey.

We published unique and entertaining content that would spread the foundation’s message and encourage more donations.

The Results

Our social media team implemented out-of-the-box strategies that saw Mick’s engagement skyrocket during his challenge. As a result we managed to grow his following across his socials and got millions of views which resulted in thousands of pounds worth of donations.
