The Process
The first step in the process was getting started on the fresh site and understanding exactly which pages would be necessary to naturally guide customers through it. The business has such a strong personality and brand; we knew we had to make sure this was clear, so we developed brand-new copy that allowed Wild Root’s personality to shine, working closely with the brand to hit the points most important to them throughout the copy and develop descriptions for their new product line.
Our design team used a playful branding strategy for Wild Root, featuring vibrant colours to energise the existing website while keeping it clean and easy to navigate. Since they offer a variety of experiences, such as dining in the cafe, attending events, booking cheeseboards or afternoon teas, takeaway options, and using the space for activities, we knew their website needed to highlight these features.
We included a booking system for tables, newsletter sign-up forms, recipe and inspiration sharing, and options to sell products and bundles, as well as to book catering services, making it easier than ever for customers to make the most of Wild Root’s services.
