The Brief

Care Business Associate Training is a specialist provider of health, social care, and professional training courses across the UK. When they came to us in July 2024, the site had been experiencing a steady decline in traffic over the previous 12 months, with organic search sessions down significantly year-on-year. The site had visibility, but it was not being converted into enquiries, and course pages were not performing anywhere near their potential.

The Process

We began with a comprehensive site analysis, pinpointing six key pages with the greatest commercial potential and creating a keyword mapping document to prioritise our efforts. 

We then implemented a mix of technical fixes, on-page optimisations, and content enhancements across both course pages and the blog. Special focus was given to the course pages, where keyword research, metadata enhancements, and content updates were implemented to attract more relevant search traffic and encourage inquiries. 

Our SEO Manager also focused on restructuring the menu, which immediately improved rankings for several core course terms, with some pages ranking first shortly after changes. 

During the year, we also improved conversion tracking by adding phone call tracking and filtering form submissions to identify high-quality leads, providing CBA with a clearer understanding of what truly drives results enquiries.

The Result

Our technical and content work delivered a clear, measurable turnaround. The menu restructure alone pushed multiple course pages to position 1, including care home assistant practitioner training, IPC lead, and induction control lead. The site now dominates position 1 for a wide range of high-intent terms and consistently appears in AI Overviews, Featured Snippets, and People Also Ask panels, giving CBAT a level of search visibility that goes well beyond standard organic rankings.

Impressions grew to over 437,000 in a single month, reflecting how much further the site’s content was reaching across relevant searches. Engagement remained strong at nearly 60% throughout, indicating that the traffic was genuinely relevant. And critically, leads followed. Monthly enquiries tripled, with course-specific submissions and general contact forms both climbing sharply as the conversion improvements took hold.
