The Process
The first stage was to create a new brand which was developed alongside Joanna to reflect her business and incorporate a complementary blush and gold palette.
Hand drawn, bespoke icons were drawn to reflect the different services provided and then content written to explain what each procedure is and how it can benefit people.
The site also includes a full price list, engaging imagery and an integrated booking system.
Next up was SEO, and strong foundations start with good on-page and technical SEO, and that’s where we start with all of our clients. So, here’s what we did:
- Extensive keyword research.
- Title tag and meta description optimisation.
- Added alt tags for all images.
- Improved content on service pages to provide more value to the user.
- De-indexed thin pages.
- Focused internal linking on main service pages.
We then followed a ‘content siloing’ technique with the objective of driving sales to one of our client’s main ‘money’ pages, in this case laser hair removal.
- Our money page had 5 supporting pages.
- All supporting pages were focused on the same topic.
- All pages were intricately linked to create a ‘feedback loop’ of topical relevance.
- Content was optimised for featured snippets.
- Content included FAQ schema.
