Simple Bricks is a new online Estate Agency providing a simple way to buy or let your home in and around London. They set themselves apart from others with their secure portal which gives landlords and vendors more control over the process from start to finish.

The Brief

As a new business in this really competitive sector, the main aim was to grow awareness of the brand and generate leads to start a new database of potential customers generated though an online instant valuation form.

Being new to market, we recommended a holistic approach to paid media advertising, using PPC (Google Ads), Facebook Ads and YouTube ads…all backed up with our social media management package which provides 6 days of unique content to their Instagram and Facebook platforms each week.

The Process

The first step was to take their logo and website theme and create some striking art templates to be used across all platforms and channels. Our graphic design team came up with a series of designs embracing a bold look with illustrated characters as well as a 45 second animated explainer video which could be used in both paid and organic campaigns. The video embraced the illustrated theme and gave a simple explanation of how easy it is to use Simple Bricks.

Our copywriters provided copy for the ads as well as the script for the video and some extra text for their existing website to help get their message across.

Our web team then jumped in to make some essential changes to help with the customer experience on the site and to integrate the video so visitors know exactly what Simple Bricks is and why they should use them.

Brand Awareness

Each platform has its benefits and our Facebook strategy was to increase brand awareness among London residents looking to sell or let their property and also generate traffic to the site.

For YouTube, we used the video as part of a ‘placement targeting’ strategy, meaning we placed the video on specific YouTube videos and channels related to the industry.

And on Google, we were able to target people based upon their related searches, such as people searching for an online estate agent, people looking to sell their home privately and more.

The Results

As well as growing their following through organic social media, the paid campaigns generated over 650 leads in less than 3 months. Through brand awareness the organic search for the Simple Bricks brand name increased by 300%.

On the Google Ads platform, after an initial high cost per lead, we used the data we collected to the cost per conversion below £20 with some of their target keywords reducing down to £5.49 and a conversion rate for leads of 20%.
