The Brief

Retro Rockstar sell 80s and 90s Britpop merchandise including clothing, wall prints and more. They wanted to push their Liam Gallagher range for his 2022 tour.

The Process

We worked with the team to make a range of graphics, which showcased their products. Additionally, the company had access to a range of Britpop, Oasis, & Liam Gallagher fan pages on Instagram and Facebook which had tens of thousands of followers.

We were granted access to the pages and were able to download all the people who had engaged across Facebook & Instagram and use these as targeting options in our ads.

Additionally, we were able to run the ads from their Fan Pages as well as Retro Rockstars’ page, which gave social proof to the ads.

Finally, we drilled into very specific targeting and age demographics, to ensure the people who saw these ads where hardcore Oasis & Liam Gallagher fans, and where aware of the upcoming events.

The Outcome

Firstly our team was able to help Retro Rockstar obtain their first ever 50k month on Shopify.

Sales attributed to marketing increased by 1,641%, order volume increased by 270% and on-site conversion rate increased by 78%.

Tracked we were able to generate a 4.2 return on ad spend from Meta Ads.
