Because this was a brand new site, the first thing we needed to do was set up tracking including Google Analytics UA, Google Analytics 4, Facebook Pixel & Google Optimize for testing the landing page.
From here, we began exploring the market, and how their competitors were operating in order for us to build the best campaigns.
We saw there was a big gap in the market in terms of creativity with ads, with many people using dated, dull, generic images and copy that wasn’t scroll-stopping. This is where we thought we could have the upper-hand.
We brought in our graphics and copywriting team and crafted fun, edgy and engaging ads, using humour and the strapline “Sell your car without the bull***”.

Over the first couple of months we needed to pause and unpause the ads so the team could keep up with the influx of interest generated from the ads. It’s a good problem to have but after hiring more staff, we now have steady and successful campaigns and get to have a whole lot of fun with their creatives.
